How to change MX records?

The MX records are responsible for your email hosting. Changing these records will result in changing the server through which your emails are send and/or received.  In order to edit your MX records, please proceed with these steps:

1. Login to your cPanel account. You can view how from our article here.

2. In your cPanel under the Domains section you will see an Zone Editor icon.

3. Once there, you will see the all of your domains, select Manage on its right

4. Filter your DNS records to show only the MX ones and edit them

As with each change in the domain name settings, you need to allow up to 48 hours for the modification to take full effect.

*Note: If you are uncertain about how to change the MX records of your domain, please contact us. Wrong or improperly managed MX records may result in email loss.

Should you experience any difficulties you can always contact our 24/7 Support Team who will gladly help you out with your mail records.
