How to use the Backup Wizard in your cPanel?

Creating regular backups is vital for the protection of your website’s data. One of the easiest ways to backup your site is through the Backup Wizard in your cPanel. Once you open the tool, you will see the option to start the backup.

Once the Backup is complete, you will receive a notification email with details on what has been saved. The backup is automatically saved in you home folder in a compressed .gz format, which you can easily restore by extracting into a folder or downloading on your computer for maximum security.

You can choose to backup or restore your full account, or just your home folder, MySQL or Email settings.

Should you experience any difficulties you can always contact our 24/7 Support Team who will gladly help you out.
