Will CloudFlare protect my website from DDoS attacks?

CloudFlare is Content Delivery Network (CDN) which caches your website over its 24 access points all over the world and serves the content to visitors  from their closest location. The traffic is also split between these access points and this means that even if your website receives a lot of visits in a really short time, be it DDoS attack or not, your website will remain up and running and your visitors won’t know that something is wrong.

Enabling CloudFlare for your website is highly recommended especially if you are having lots of traffic on it. This will not only lessen the load for the server and speed up the loading time but will also save you money from bandwidth fees or needing to upgrade your hosting package. Not to mention the advanced bot and hack detection – all of this for free.
