cPanel – File Manager Max Upload Size

Many people wonder if cPanel’s File Manager has a Max Upload Size limit (usually PHP applications themselves have such).

Is There a Max Upload Size Limit in cPanel?

The answer is plain and simple – no, you are not limited by size when uploading through cPanel’s File Manager.

You will be able to upload a large file as long as you have enough Disk Space to utilize for your cPanel account.

For example – if I have used up 15/20 GB of Disk Space I can upload a 5 GB file without any limitations through cPanel’s File Manager.

We recommend that you use File Manager for files less than 1 GB in size and FTP for files above 1 GB. Why – you can read from here!
